As stated in the Terms Of Use below, membership is restricted to those conducting business, government and/or education related activities, including but not limited to companies (both profit and non-profit), self-emloyed individuals (authors, contractors, real estate agents, artists, etc.), charites, schools, colleges and universities, and government agencies. Please see the Terms Of Use for the types of business activities which are expressly prohibited from joining One Page Works. One Page Works reserves the right to cancel any membership at any time for any reason without warning.

The registration process allows for the specification of a lot of optional items. The registration process is designed to get your web page up and running as quickly as possible and the more items you can specify at registration time, the less you will need to specify after registering.

Before beginning the registration process, please have the following required items ready and available. All information may be modified after registratino.
  1. A name for your business/organization.
  2. A simple URL for your business. This goes on the end of http://onepageworks.com/ to uniquely identify your web page. For example, if your URL is Loans, then your page would be found at http://onepageworks.com/Loans .
  3. An admistrator email address where we can send password reminders, announcements, etc. This must be a valid working email address and will be verified during the registration process.
  4. A password to access your account. This password along with your business URL will be used to log in to your account.
  5. An image in bmp, gif, jpg or png format to serve as your logo/business identity. If you are a self-employed individual, this could be a picture of yourself. This image is prominently displayed on your web page and should not be greater than 370 pixels in width and more than .5MB in size. Some text to serve as a caption should also be prepared. This text is displayed in certain areas of the website like the image gallery and when visitors roll over the image when displayed as an icon.
  6. (Optional, but Highly Recommended) An image in bmp, gif, jpg or png format to serve as an icon for your business. This icon should be a miniature version of your logo image that is 70 pixels by 70 pixels. If you do not specify an icon, your logo image will be used. Some text to serve as a caption should also be prepared. This text is displayed when visitors roll over the icon.
  7. A description of your business/organization. You must specify a minimum of 200 characters (excluding spaces) describing your business.
  8. At least one contact for your business. This can be a phone number or email address. For example, you could specify a contact with a Contact Type of Email, Contact Name of Sales and Contact Info of sales@mybusinessurl.com or you could specify a contact with a Contact Type of Phone, Contact Name of Customer Support and Contact Info of (555) 555-5555.

Other optional items that may be specified during the registration process and that you may want available to you are:
  1. The location(s) of your business, if you have physical locations. You may also specify for example a city or state if you don't have a physical location, but do business in a certain locale.
  2. The hours of operation of your business. If your business has set hours, you can enter them here. For example, you could specify the days of week as Monday-Friday and the hours as 9am - 5pm for one entry and specify the days of week as Saturday & Sunday and the hours as Closed for another entry.
  3. A name and description of up to three products that your company sells. Additional products may be specified after registration.
  4. A name and description of up to three services that your company provides. Additional services may be specified after registration.
  5. Up to five images in .gif, .bmp, .jpg or .png format for inclusion in your business's image gallery. Each image may not be greater than .5MB and images greater than 750 pixels in width will be automatically resized when displayed in the image gallery.
